| The Columbia Chess Club holds both Regular Rated and Quick Rated tournaments. Below are the details for each tournament. Check the Club Calendar for the current event. The Club tournament history is HERE. Chief TD's: Bob Halliday Daniel Smith Registration Deadline is 7:15 Regular Rated Tournaments Five round Swiss. Two Sections, Open & Amateur (U1505). One round a week for five weeks. Entry fee $2 for club members, $5 for non-members. One bye allowed. You can play one round or five! Rounds start at 7:30. Game 90 Quick Rated Tournaments Game 20 Quads. Entry fee $10 for club members, $15 for non-members. First place each quad $20, Second $15. Quad may become a Swiss based on the number of entries. Round 1 starts at 7:30. The Columbia Open TBA, 2012 Cola Chess also hosts the Columbia Open. This is a three day tournament held each year in August. Details for this event can be found HERE. |
